The webcomic is still the prime way to enjoy the series. The manga dropped the ball hard in terms of characters and story telling, the final confrontation of the MA arc was the culmination of Garous half assed ideals. Garou never had any intention of killing any of the heroes. He fought every hero in a way that wouldnt kill them which Saitama explicitly calls him out for. Webcomic Garou isnt one dimensional hes simply a kid with no idea of how to bring about the changes he wants to see so he decides on inflicting pain to bring others together but he ultimately isn't this personification of evil he pretends to be but importantly he isnt just excused for this like he is in the webcomic, Saitama beats him up and embaresses him because he deserves, none of this blaming it on "god" bussiness. So having ruined Garou and Saitama the arc quicly derails into weird fanservice and drawn out fights with a weird out of focus on "god" being behind everthing. Not to mention the character assassination that is spread out amongst the cast. Regardless of who worked on the manga its bad work and this is proven with the counteless redraws that seemingly happen out of nowhere and not so long ago ground the story to a halt for months over one fight only to ultimately make it worse in every way. Its weird that the webcomic is still incredible yet everything else opm touches turns to trash.
